#6. “Think B4U Speak”

Public Speaking demands Your Critical Attention to the words and phrases you use, because bottom line, once you Speak them…you own them. Technology and the Web have made escape from responsibility impossible. In this Show, we look at one such example from the recent past as a reminder for our own less encumbered future.

The Quote’s I use are from Mr. William Bennett, former Secretary of Education, and former US Drug Czar. The point is that anyone, at any level, at any time, can say something that will stick to them. In fact, Mr. Bennett often complained that his words were being “taken out of context.” And that may have been the case, nevertheless…

The words you Speak today can come back to haunt you for Years to come.

Having had a fair amount of experience in public speaking situations myself, I find the five minute blogs helpfull and insightfull everytime I hear one. I wish there had been something like this blog years agao when I first started speaking… it would have saved me alot of mishaps. I wish you and your blog tremendous success.
