#14- “How to Read a Speech Successfully”

Reading a Speech, for Speakers, is rarely recommended but often necessary. Many seasoned  Speakers have difficulty sounding Conversational, almost always sounding like they’re Reading it rather than saying it.

Here’s a link to a Speech delivered by Steve Jobs at a Stanford Graduation. It was well received and yet I think it would have had more impact with the Audience, and me and maybe You, if he had Spoken his Story to us instead of Read his Story.  Watch it and then make up you mind.

In this show we look at some Reading-a-Speech techniques, from Preparation to Delivery that just might help you Read, ie. Sound, like a Pro. Enjoy, and Happy Speaking. And, Check out my Workshops if You want to improve your Speaking skills.
