A Music Stand…is this a Concert?  No, but it is a Creative Choice. Why you wonder? Well, Joseph Nye is a former Assistant Secretary of Defense. And also a former Dean of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He knows himself well and will offer sharp insights into international politics. But that’s not why I’ve chosen to feature him here. He’s teaching all of us a lesson in Speaking. His choice to use a Music Stand is a Creative Choice that He knows will guarantee an error-free Presentation. So, we can learn from the choices of other Speakers.

Excessive Stage Movement can weaken your Presentation.

Excessive Stage Movement can be Distracting and this Training video demonstrates the point. Ms. Johanna Blakley, delivers a TED Presentation on “Women & Social Media”.
